Partner & Wealth Advisor · NFLPA Registered Player Financial Advisor
As a Partner and Wealth Advisor for WFA Volare, I'm passionate about helping people make better decisions at the intersection of money and life. I believe financial planning should bring clarity and confidence, not unnecessary complexity, so my clients can spend more of their time and energy on the people, experiences, and pursuits that matter most to them.
As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, I bring a holistic approach to financial planning, investment management, and wealth strategy. I've also completed Levels I and II of the CFA Program and the Level III curriculum, reflecting my commitment to advanced investment analysis and portfolio management. I'm also an NFLPA Registered Player Financial Advisor, working within the NFL Players Association's program designed to help professional football players identify qualified financial advisors.
I work with retirees, business owners, professionals, women in life transition, and elite athletes to build customized financial strategies around their unique lives and goals. At the center of my approach is a simple idea: make the complicated understandable, educate rather than dictate, and help people develop the confidence to make thoughtful financial decisions.
After graduating from Louisiana College with a bachelor's degree in Business, I pursued a lifelong dream of playing professional baseball. When my playing career ended, I moved to Shreveport in 2006 and earned my Master of Business Administration from Louisiana State University Shreveport.
I began my career in financial services as a financial advisor with Capital One Bank before joining WFA Volare in 2009. The move to an independent advisory firm gave me the opportunity to work alongside a team of professionals, provide advice centered on my clients' needs, and continually invest in improving the experience WFA Volare provides the families it serves. Over the years, my role has grown from financial advisor to partner and business leader, while my focus has remained deeply rooted in serving clients.
Entrepreneurship has always been part of my story. My father and grandfather owned and operated The Shoe Trunk, a retail shoe business in Alexandria, Louisiana, giving me an early look at the responsibility, risk, and pride that come with building something of your own.
I grew up in Pineville, Louisiana, and have called Shreveport home since 2006. My wife, Suzannah, and I are both entrepreneurs. Suzannah owns and operates Studio P3, a physical therapy clinic and Pilates studio in Shreveport.
More than any professional title, I'm proud of being Poppa to my three daughters, Ayda, Anella, and Alisanne. Outside the office, you'll usually find me spending time with my family, playing music, reading, training, coaching youth sports, or getting outside.
